Gyre creators have always expected one thing: launching 24/7 live streams should not take time or require constant manual involvement. From day one, our goal has been to remove unnecessary complexity from streaming workflows.

Now we’re taking a major step forward — introducing 24/7 live stream creation through YouTube channel authorization via the YouTube API.

This update fundamentally changes how streams are created. You can now launch a live stream in under a minute — no copying stream keys, no switching between dashboards, and no extra technical steps in YouTube Studio.

Why We Added YouTube Authorization — and Why It Matters

Over the past few years, creators have been running more continuous live streams, often dozens at the same time. At that scale, even small manual actions quickly turn into hours of repetitive work. Channel authorization removes this friction entirely.
First, Gyre now creates live streams on your channel automatically via the API. Titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails are transferred instantly. You enter the parameters in one interface and immediately see a fully prepared live stream on YouTube.

Second, there’s no need to manually handle stream keys anymore. You simply select an existing key or create a new one, and Gyre automatically connects everything. This is especially valuable when managing multiple channels or running a large number of 24/7 streams.

Monetization is another major advantage. If Third-party tools are enabled in YouTube Studio, the stream launches with monetization already active. No additional checks, no missed settings, and no risk of lost revenue.

For creators running long-term 24/7 live streams, authorization also allows Gyre to manage the broadcast reliably at every stage — from launch to automatic stop. This results in higher stability, better security, and far fewer technical issues compared to manual setups.

How It Works in Practice

The workflow is intentionally simple. You select YouTube as your platform, connect your channel, define your stream parameters, and create the live stream directly in Gyre. The system automatically generates the broadcast on your channel and prompts you to add videos or a playlist.

Before launch, Gyre checks all file parameters. If any video doesn’t match the first one in the list — resolution, FPS, or audio settings — you’ll see the issue immediately in the interface. There’s no need to test streams manually or troubleshoot after going live.

Once everything is ready, you press one button. The stream begins simultaneously on Gyre and YouTube. Stream status is synced in real time, and you can edit the title, change the playlist, or duplicate the stream for a new launch at any moment.

Manual Setup Is Still Available — If You Need It

Manual stream creation remains unchanged. It’s still useful for creators who need maximum control or work with advanced YouTube Studio configurations.

That said, channel authorization is quickly becoming the default choice: it’s faster, more reliable, and significantly reduces the number of technical errors.

Scheduling Is Now Even More Convenient

After creating a stream, you can immediately add it to the Streams Scheduler. Choose a start time, an end time, or both, set the schedule, and the event appears in your timeline.

The Strteams Scheduler makes it easy to manage multiple live streams, find specific broadcasts using the search function, edit parameters, or remove unnecessary events.
